Mike White has served the coaches, athletes and sports teams through the ministry of FCA, opening the first southern WV office in 1997. In 2001, he started the FCA Chapel program at WVU and served as Chaplain for the football team until 2003. Mike has accepted the Western Triangle Area Directors Position and will serve coaches and athletes in Durham, Orange and person counties.

Mike grew up in Fayette County, WV where he enjoyed playing sports, water skiing, fishing and nearly every outdoor activity. He studied Labor Relations at WVU Tech and worked in the transportation industry for 17 years. Mike married his wife Ann in 1979 and they have three grown daughters and five of the world’s greatest grandchildren.

In addition to athletic community outreach, Mike has a passion to train up leaders. He mentors student athletes through his Adventures in Leadership program and the FCA Internship program. By investing in the lives of young leaders, Mike hopes to see them continue the ministry of FCA and the mission of the Church into the next generation.
