Hi, my name is Julie Brooker. I was born in Oakville, Ontario Canada and moved south with my family at a young age. I grew up in LaGrange, Georgia and attended LaGrange Academy where I played softball, basketball and soccer throughout high school. I went on to play softball at the University of Georgia. After graduating in 2003, I spent the next 20 years as a high school varsity softball coach, including 10 years as an FCA huddle coach. My husband Michael Brooker (UNC '01) and I were married on 7-7-07. We have been blessed beyond measure to be parents of Wesley (15) and Charley (11). 

In May of 2024 my husband was hired as Cardinal Gibbons High School's head boys basketball coach. In a leap of faith, we packed up and moved from Douglasville GA to Raleigh, NC in a week's notice. Not knowing what was in store for me, I trusted God had a plan. The plan was full time ministry with FCA! I now serve NC State University as the character coach for the Wolfpack's softball team.
