While teaching at Orange High School in Hillsborough, N.C., Bobby led a Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) huddle for 29 years. During those years, he was blessed to be able to participate in numerous FCA camps for coaches and students, as well as in school, community, and international outreach events. FCA helped give Bobby a vision for serving God and reaching the lost through coaching and teaching. After 30+ years of teaching and coaching, God is moving Bobby into a new role with FCA Wrestling as a full-time missionary on staff. He will now have the privilege of building upon many of the contacts and relationships he formed over the past 30 years to help mentor other coaches and college athletes. He is so excited about this new season, and he enters it full of expectation of what God will do.
Bobby and his wife Cindy have five adult children: Nicholas, Madison, Elijah, Michaela, and Mileah. The Shriner family resides in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
